Check-in was quick and the night staff was quite responsive, which made settling in easier. Unfortunately, the room left much to be desired. it was dirty with stains on the sheets and towels, and there was a foul smell from smokers near the AC unit. The surrounding area felt somewhat unsafe with unsavory characters lingering outside. The breakfast offered was decent, but overall, the room condition needs serious improvement.

This place suits me perfectly! Great wi-fi, responsive 24-hour reception, and express check-in/out make my stays easy. The staff once helped me with directions, which I really appreciated. I'll always come back for my city breaks!

The couch in my room had noticeable stains, which didn't exactly inspire confidence, and while the room itself was generally clean, I expected a bit more attention to detail, especially in the bathroom. A few of the doors had trouble opening, which added to the frustration of an otherwise mundane stay.

I really loved how close it was to Lake Cunningham, perfect for a scenic stroll, and the Japanese Friendship Garden was just a short walk away for even more beautiful views. everything was conveniently accessible, making my city explorations so much easier and more enjoyable.

I was pleasantly surprised by my recent stay! The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed. A late-night snack from the on-site restaurant hit the spot. Don't miss the chance to enjoy breakfast—it’s surprisingly good!

I checked into the Rodeway Inn San Jose and found some positives among the negatives. The room included essential amenities like a fridge, microwave, and flat-screen TV. This setup made getting comfortable easy. The front desk staff were responsive and accommodated my queries quickly, which I appreciated. However, the overall cleanliness left much to be desired. The bathroom could have been cleaner, especially the tub, which showed signs of wear. I noticed some stains on the sofa chair too. These issues detracted from the otherwise decent experience. Additionally, I felt a little uneasy during my stay due to my surroundings. A late-night knock on my door added to that discomfort, though the staff did try to help. If the cleanliness improved and the area felt safer, this place could be a lot better.
